Frequently Asked Questions
THERAPY
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy can be helpful if you find yourself feeling stuck in recurring patterns, navigating difficult relationships, moving through a life transition or wanting a deeper understanding of yourself. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.
What can I expect in our first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, your goals, relevant aspects of your history and whether we're a good fit to work together. You're welcome to ask me questions about my approach too.
How often do sessions take place?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions. As therapy progresses, we may decide together to move to fortnightly or monthly sessions depending on your needs.
What approaches do you use?
My work is trauma and attachment informed, integrating approaches such as Brainspotting, Emotion Freedom Technique (EFT), somatic practices and mindfulness. Every session is tailored to the person in front of me rather than following a single model.
Do you work online or in person?
I currently offer both online and in-person sessions.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. I work with clients across different countries through online therapy.
CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Who is supervision for?
I work primarily with psychologists, therapists and mental health professionals looking for a reflective space to deepen their clinical practice, strengthen case conceptualisation and integrate trauma and attachment informed ways of working.
What happens during supervision?
Supervision includes case discussions, ethical reflection, therapeutic process, countertransference and practical interventions. Group supervision also includes demonstrations of approaches such as Brainspotting, EFT, parts work and other experiential techniques.
Do I need to practise from the same therapeutic orientation as you?
Not at all. Curiosity and openness to reflection are far more important than sharing the same modality.
Do you predict the future?
No. My tarot practice is centred on reflection rather than prediction. The cards offer another perspective to help explore patterns, emotions and possibilities, but they do not determine your future or make decisions for you.
Is tarot a replacement for therapy?
No. Tarot and psychotherapy are different practices. Tarot offers insight and reflection, while therapy supports deeper psychological healing over time. Some people engage with both, while others choose one depending on what they're seeking.
Can I book tarot for an event?
Yes. I offer tarot experiences for retreats, community gatherings, wellness events, markets, corporate wellbeing initiatives and other collaborative spaces.
