Clinical Supervision for Trauma Informed therapists
Supervision is more than discussing cases. It's a space to reflect, deepen your clinical thinking and continue becoming the therapist you want to be.
My supervision is grounded in trauma- and attachment-informed practice. Together, we'll explore how trauma is held in the body, how attachment patterns shape relationships both within and outside the therapy room, and how these lenses can inform case conceptualisation, therapeutic presence and intervention.
Whether you're feeling stuck with a particular case, navigating ethical dilemmas, building confidence in your clinical skills or looking for a space to think alongside another therapist, supervision offers an opportunity for reflection, support and growth.
Individual Supervision
One-on-one supervision provides a dedicated space tailored to your learning needs and clinical practice. Sessions may include case conceptualisation, navigating therapeutic ruptures, ethical decision-making, integrating trauma- and attachment-informed perspectives, and developing your therapeutic identity. Depending on your learning goals, sessions may also include experiential demonstrations and opportunities to explore different ways of working.
Group Supervision
Group supervision is designed as a collaborative learning space where we grow through both reflection and experience. Alongside case discussions and clinical consultation, I regularly incorporate live demonstrations, experiential exercises and skills practice to help therapists translate theory into practice.
These sessions often introduce therapists to approaches such as Brainspotting, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR-informed concepts and parts work, allowing you to experience these frameworks in action before deciding whether you'd like to pursue further training. The intention isn't to train or certify therapists in these modalities, but to expand your therapeutic toolkit, deepen your understanding of trauma-informed practice and build confidence in integrating new ways of working.
My approach to supervision is:
-
Grounded in trauma- and attachment-informed practice.
-
Integrative, experiential and reflective.
-
Focused on translating theory into meaningful clinical application.
-
Collaborative rather than hierarchical.
-
Attentive to culture, identity and systemic contexts.
-
Supportive of both clinical growth and therapist wellbeing.
Whether you're an early-career therapist building confidence or an experienced practitioner looking for a reflective space, supervision offers an opportunity to deepen your practice, expand your therapeutic toolkit and develop your own authentic therapeutic style.
